I have been painting horses almost as long as I have been riding them. The painting of the Archer was created with six other sisters at a sultry little spot up valley in Napa during one long harvest. The grapes came in deep purple and sticky, and the horses kept running across my canvas. When it was all over, it only made sense to combine these passions in one rich, sensuous package. The Archer the wine was born. She’s the decadent first blend from some of the curviest vines in the valley. The wine as well the art is an exploration of intensity and magic.
